• Mobility assistance: Helping clients move around safely, including transferring from bed to chair or using assistive devices.

Light Housekeeping and Meal Preparation:

• Light cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.

• Meal preparation: Cooking and preparing meals according to the client's dietary needs.

• Laundry: Washing and folding laundry.

Transportation and Errands:

• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, doctor visits, or errands.

• Grocery shopping: Purchasing groceries and supplies. 

​

Emotional Support and Companionship:

• Emotional support: Providing a listening ear, encouragement, and reassurance.

• Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and outings to prevent isolation. 

​

Medical Assistance (under supervision):

• Medication reminders: Reminding clients to take their medications. 

• Vital sign monitoring: Taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature. 

• Reporting changes in condition: Notifying appropriate healthcare professionals of any changes in the client's health.

Other Duties:

• Documentation: Keeping records of care provided and observations.

• Communication: Communicating with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Safety: Maintaining a safe home environment and reporting any concerns.
